Dynamic Structure: The large majority of torsional and lateral loads are handled by the lower spine of the frame. The headtube, downtube and chainstays resist twisting and transmit power to the rear wheel. There is no doubt about it, resistance to flex in the bottom of the frame translates directly to more watts to the wheel and a sensation that power transfer is instantaneous.
Orbea World Cup Geometry: Alma's World Cup Geometry is born from years of designing world-class XC bikes. The position is aggressive, comfortable and fast. Unlike trail geometry that sacrifices some precison for endurance, XC geometry is precise and intuitive for maximum power transfer. Head Angle 68, Seat Angle 74.5, Reach 426mm Medium.

Orbea is a Spanish bicycle manufacturer founded in 1840 by the Orbea brothers in the Basque Country. They are now Spain's largest bicycle manufacturer and have been owned by a workers co-operative since 1969. Their bikes have been used by some of the worlds top athletes such as Samuel Sánchez who won gold on his Orbea Orca Carbon at the Beijing Olympics road race along with Julien Absalon who took home the gold medal in the cross country mountain bike race aboard his Orbea Alma.
